A visit to the Swiss Alps might mean staying at hotel or perhaps campground depending on your preference. Luxury boutique hotel Null Stern has combined both, presenting a look at a room that has no walls or a roof. Tucked inside Graubünden’s mountain ranges, the “room” first opened in 2008 and only consists of a bed, two lamps and nightstands, all atop a tile floor. The bathroom is 10 minutes away, but accommodations include a personal butler for guests’ other needs.
If you’re interested in sleeping beneath the stars, the room is available during spring and fall at approximately $225 USD per night.
