Theory Will Soon Launch Its First Ever Handbag Collection

The contemporary fashion label is about to expand its empire.

Andrew Rosen’s Theory will soon release its first official handbag collection. While the contemporary fashion label has previously sold handbags, they were mostly one-off styles. For the upcoming launch of the brand’s new accessories, Rosen has tapped former Céline and Coach employee Rory O’Hanlon to be Theory’s creative director of accessories. “Being able to find Rory, who has an incredible pedigree and experience in the accessories world, was a great motivation,” Rosen happily explains. The brand’s chief executive continues: “It’s not like I think we’re going to just put bags in our stores around the world and it’s going to be instantly successful. It’s going to take a lot of work and we’re going to have to continue to evolve the initial concept.”

Priced between $125 USD and $995 USD, you can expect to shop Theory’s first handbag collection in-store and online starting August 2016.
