Tinashe Charges Up Old-School Pop With "SuperLove"
The new single offers sounds from decades past.
Earlier this year Tinashe decided to cancel the remainder of her ‘Joyride’ tour in order to complete her second studio album, staying under the radar and dropping a few tracks — she now resurfaces with “SuperLove.” The single offers charged-up pop with a nod to ’90s-through-the-aughts R&B: we hear Ghost Town DJs’ “My Boo” and Ciara-like sounds throughout. The latter especially makes sense considering The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, past CiCi collaborators, are credited producers. Press play down below and listen for yourself.
