Watch Alicia Vikander Make Phone Calls to Random People in Sweden
“Do Swedish people actually go to IKEA?”
In conjunction with her Vanity Fair cover shoot, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander has teamed up with the magazine to create a humorous short film in which she makes phone calls to random people in Sweden. By dialing the special “Swedish Number” service set up by the Swedish Tourist Association, which is designed to let anyone connect with a random Swede over the phone, Vikander is able to make some interesting conversation with a couple of strangers. The Oscar-winning star is seen giggling uncontrollably after she asks questions like, “Do Swedish people actually go to IKEA?” and “Where can I find the best meatballs in Stockholm?” Disguising herself with a pseudonym, the actress also requests to know her own whereabouts, telling random Swedes that she “really, really wants to meet Alicia Vikander.”
