Azealia Banks Decides to Quit Social Media "For Good"

“I’m tired of having everything I say or do be monitored.”

Azealia Banks has just announced that she is quitting social media “for good.” After years of making controversial remarks on the Internet, such as her racist slurs directed at Zayn, the “Slay-Z” artist made the following statement on her Facebook page:

I’m seriously tired of peoples feelings. I’m tired of seeing their overly sensitive reactions and responses to everything. I’m tired of having everything I say or do be monitored and I’m tired of being told how I should be behaving. I’m quitting Facebook, and any other form of social media that allows me to engage with people. My legacy can’t live and die on the Internet. Goodbye. For good.

Time will tell if the rapper is going to stick to her own words. Apart from Banks, Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones has also abandoned Twitter recently because of the hurtful comments she received on the social media platform. You can head over here to read more about Jones’ experience.
