Cara Delevingne Responds to 'Suicide Squad's "Horrible" Critics
“It’s “the fans that we made this movie for.”
Cara Delevingne, who plays Enchantress, isn’t pleased about critics’ negative reviews towards Suicide Squad. During its London premiere she told Reuters, “The critics have been absolutely horrific, they’re really, really horrible. I just don’t think they like superhero movies.”
“This movie isn’t perfect, but it’s a wonderful film, and I think the characters are incredible,” she added. “We all worked really, really hard, and it doesn’t really matter what the critics say at the end of the day. It’s the fans that we made this movie for.”
It seems the audience is with her – 17,000 people signed an online petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes after its negative reviews. Right now, the audience holds a 74 percent score against critics’ 27 percent. Will you watch this opening weekend?
