These aren’t the flash tattoos you’re used to seeing at music festivals. DuoSkin is bringing all new meaning to “touchscreen,” introducing metallic stick-ons that allow wearers to control digital devices via skin. The prototype project is a collaboration between MIT Media Lab and Microsoft Research and uses gold metal leaf material for three different applications: touch input, display output and wireless communication.
