Amsterdam’s Foam Museum is currently hosting a major exhibition featuring the works of legendary photographer Helmut Newton. The retrospective consists of more than 200 photographs taken by the master decades ago with his Leica and Rolleiflex cameras. Among the mix are some of the photographer’s rarely seen early prints, as well as his monumental photos. Newton was an icon in the 1970s when he was commissioned to take photographs for French Vogue. During that time, the photographer had created memorable images including the “Le Smoking” series he did in collaboration with Yves Saint Laurent, in which features androgynously-dressed women.

Running until September 4, you can visit “Helmut Newton – A Retrospective” at Foam Museum in Amsterdam. Head over to the museum’s website if you are curious to learn more about the photographer.
