Instagram Is Rolling Out a New Comment-Blocking Feature to Celebrities First, of Course

Bye, haters!

‘Twas only a matter of time — Instagram is finally allowing comment blocking and disabling. The new feature is currently being tested via celebrities, as they’re the ones who are more often than not subject to negative trolling and emoji vitriol — remember all the snake symbols that flooded Taylor Swift’s feed after Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat takedown? T-Swift is among the first to test the filtering system on the Facebook-owned photo sharing app, along with Chrissy Teigen and Kylie Jenner.

How it works: submit any keywords you want barred from your feed, and voila, they’re gone — down with all the “LBs.” We don’t know when this option will be available to everyone, so stay tuned for updates and get a preview below. In the meantime, enjoy IG’s latest “Stories” update, which you can read about here.
