One Month In, Is Instagram "Stories" Really Catching Up to Snapchat?

Instagram also now suggests who to watch on the Explore page.

Instagram’s now one-month-old “Stories” released to much criticism regarding its unabashed “copycat” comparison to Snapchat. Even so, the critique doesn’t seem to have dampened the success.

According to The Next Web 100 million-users are on Stories – compared to Snapchat’s 150 million-wide community. Instagram’s 500 million-monthly users seem to be hooked and “Dog Filters” aren’t even yet available.

Instagram also suggests who watch now on the Explore page — and the updates will surely continue. Are you using Instagram over Snapchat?
