Naomi Campbell Is Every Inch Her Supermodel Title on 'Paper' Magazine
In a world stuck on beauty, she’s learned to see beyond.
Naomi Campbell is a model extraordinaire with a catwalk that even Queen B sings about — “Walk across the room like Naomi Campbell!” The runway veteran spoke to Paper about the special people she’s surrounded by:
“They are not showy, but sincere. They are loyal and honest and there with you throughout, being themselves and being true. Pure.”
Campbell is no less active now than at her ’90s peak having released a two-part book over the summer and appeared in Anohni’s Riccardo-Tisci-directed video “Drone Bomb Me.” The industry insider is not shy about sharing her knowledge:
“If a young model asks me for advice or if I can help them, I will. I’m very much supportive of young artists, young photographers, young models. There is nothing wrong with sharing; I think you should. And I never do it expecting anything in return.”
