Zendaya Created a Line of Shoes Women Can Actually Wear — and Afford
“I wouldn’t create a shoe that I don’t love and wouldn’t put on my own foot.”
Zendaya added footwear designer to her resume last year, but this fall she’s relaunching her line with everyone in mind. Daya by Zendaya will hit cheaper price points without skimping on quality — they look like a million bucks as modeled by Z herself in Footwear News.
Despite her personally affinity for Christian Louboitin’s So Kate pump, Zendaya’s created her own collection with her target audience in mind. “I want women to feel expensive, luxurious and beautiful, but not have to spend three years saving up for one pair of shoes,” she explains in the magazine’s August issue. And in no way are hers knockoffs: “I don’t want people to feel like they have the look for less; I want them to have the look that just happens to be for less.”
Preview Z’s range — priced between $70 and $125 USD — above before it’s available at retailers like Nordstrom later this year.
