Beyoncé Finally Shares Full "Hold Up" Music Video on Vevo
Bey’s treat to her fans on her 35th birthday.
Beyoncé has decided to celebrate her 35th birthday by sharing a standalone video for “Hold Up” on Vevo. As part of Bey’s visual album LEMONADE, the approximately five-minute long video was initially viewable only on Tidal. The music video opens with the singer reciting a poem by Warsan Shire: “I tried to change. Closed my mouth more, tried to be softer, prettier, less awake. Fasted for 60 days, wore white, abstained from mirrors, abstained from sex, slowly did not speak another word.”
