DKNY Plays with Proportions for Its Futuristic 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
An avant-garde rework of hoodies and anoraks.
Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow have presented DKNY‘s 2017 spring/summer collection at New York Fashion Week. Inspired by the idea of futurism, the duo reworks various silhouettes with an avant-garde touch. Opened by the fashion world’s new favorite, Bella Hadid, the presentation features multiple see-through hoodies and anoraks. The collection also exhibits a sense of uniformity with its coherent use of colors that include purple, orange, olive green and black. Floor-length trench coats, shoulder-padded blazers, oversized sweaters, and activewear-inspired underwear also appear on the runway repeatedly.
