Premiered during the season finale of Mr. Robot, we get our first look at the highly anticipated Japanese manga adaptation, Ghost in the Shell. With much controversy surrounding the forthcoming flick — largely revolving around the “whitewash” casting of Scarlett Johansson in the lead role of Major Matoko Kusanagi – it is interesting to finally get a first glimpse of the sci-fi feature. Releasing five glitchy teasers via the movie’s official Twitter account, we get a taste of the visionary world first conceived by the franchise’s creator, Masamune Shirow.
