Gigi Hadid Speaks Out Against Man Who Attacked Her – and Her Right to Self-Defense
Against critics she said: “I had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself.”
Gigi Hadid was leaving the Max Mara show with Bella when a man picked her up unexpectedly – the model lashed out and elbowed the Italian prankster. After the incident The Sun wrote a damning article: “NOT MODEL BEHAVIOR: Gigi Hadid aggressively lashes out and ELBOWS fan in the FACE after he tries to pick her up.”
Hadid took to Twitter to speak out thanking a Huffington Post writer who rewrote the headline to “GOOD FOR HER: Gigi Hadid Reacts In Totally Appropriate Way When Random Man Tries To Lift Her In The Street.”
Gigi then wrote: “I’m a HUMAN BEING — and had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho.” Watch the incident below.
