Jacquemus' 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Is Inspired by the Romance of Southern France
Chic straw hats, padded-shoulder tops, wide pinstripe pants and more.
Jacquemus has unveiled its 2017 spring/summer collection on the first day of Paris Fashion Week. This season, Simon Porte Jacquemus continues to draw inspiration from the sunny, romantic Southern France, the place where the designer spent his childhood. Models with tanned orange cheeks are all styled with huge, circular straw hats. Employing a coherent color palette of white, blue, and black, the collection sees a handful of padded-shoulder tops, voluminous sleeves, wide pinstripe pants, as well as pencil skirts. Playful details such as oversized buttons and geometric block heels are also prominent throughout the show. Check out all of the chic runway looks by browsing the gallery above.
