Kim Kardashian on Taylor Swift Controversy: "There Was No Shade"
The ‘Wonderland’ cover star opens up about being a T-Swift fan, feminist and more.
Now that the dust’s settled following the internet-breaking Snapchat expose of Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian makes it clear: “There was no shade.” She tells Wonderland, who tapped KKW as the Fall 2016 cover star, “I never publicly talk bad about people. I still don’t feel like I have. I’m being honest. I’m a fan. I like her music.”
Kim’s inside feature also reflects on her other headline-making moments, like when she revealed she doesn’t want to be called a feminist:
“I see so many people claiming that they are a feminist and they don’t do shit to act like it. I act 10 times more of a feminist than some people that stand there and march. I definitely believe in all rights for women. I just don’t like labels.”
She even opens up about her #BlackLivesMatter essay, saying:
“First and foremost, anyone that’s compassionate would feel a type of way about that, and would want to get involved. Having a black husband, a son, even my daughter – it’s a conversation that’s always in our household. I want to raise my kids to not be afraid of people that are supposedly trusted.”
The rest of Kim’s interview in her Wonderland issue drops tomorrow, but you can go behind the scenes via Buzzfeed below.
