McQ's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Pays Homage to Prince
The purple suede series is dedicated to the late musical icon.
McQ has unveiled a romantic collection for the 2017 spring/summer season. Drawing inspiration from 1980’s performer and writer, Lydia Lunch, as well as from the fetishistic imagery by photographer Irina Ionesco, the collection from Alexander McQueen’s diffusion label is a beautiful marriage between masculine proportions and feminine silhouettes. Sarah Burton’s latest creations include punkish leather jackets, studded platform sandals, denim jackets, lacy slip-dresses, floral bombers, as well as purple suede pieces that are designed as a tribute to the late star Prince.
