Life-Size Paper Dolls Party at Moschino's 2017 Spring/Summer Show
2-D everything.
Jeremy Scott has unveiled a playful 2017 spring/summer collection for Moschino during Milan Fashion Week. The designer cleverly gives his own critique on today’s digital-obsessed world by presenting a collection inspired by paper doll clothes. “Before too long, this face-to-face conversation is going to feel awkward,” says Scott. Three-dimensional pieces have been rendered into flat, cartoonish silhouettes. In addition, white folding tabs have been added to various outfits, making the models appear as if they are actually life-size paper dolls. Among the mix are Marilyn Monroe-style evening gowns, faux lingerie dresses, and bathing suits featuring Scott’s iconic teddy bear. See it for yourself by checking out the gallery above.
