Opening Ceremony Joins Forces with Esprit for a 2016 Fall Apparel Collection

A modern reinterpretation of original Esprit staples.

For the 2016 fall season, Opening Ceremony has teamed up with Esprit to create a special apparel collection. Consisting of 40 different styles, the collaborative range includes women’s and men’s pieces, as well as some unisex designs. Drawing inspirations from Esprit’s original roots in California, the collection boasts a colorful array of clothing items, including T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and more.

“We’ve loved Esprit since we were teenagers,” said Opening Ceremony’s founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, “and as with our roots also in California, this collection is one of our dream collaborations. This is Opening Ceremony’s interpretation of the original Esprit staples that we hoarded for our closets growing up, and we want to make this generation just as excited about Esprit.”

Lensed by Charlotte Wales and styled by Charlotte Collet, the collaborative range’s campaign features a dynamic ensemble of models, and is reminiscent of Esprit’s classic 1980s advertisements. Browse the gallery above to check out the campaign in full.

Priced between $30 USD and $375 USD, the Opening Ceremony x Esprit 2016 fall collection will be available soon at select retailers and online.
