Watch the 'Stranger Things' Kids Slay An "Uptown Funk" Performance at Emmys Pre-Show
And to top it all off…DAB.
Although Stranger Things was ineligible for an Emmys nomination this year due to its premier date, that didn’t stop the cast of the runaway hit from making a jaw-dropping performance at the Emmys Pre-Show. Performing Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ Billboard topper “Uptown Funk,” cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo absolutely slay. For those who aren’t familiar with the young stars of the show, most will be surprised at the stellar singing chops of McLaughlin and Matarazzo, who both actually happen to be Broadway musical stars — McLaughlin starred in Les Misérables while Matarazzo played Young Simba in Lion King.
Not to be outdone by her cast mates, however, Brown definitely kept up as she revealed a beautiful singing voice — quite a difference from the mostly quiet Eleven that she plays in Stranger Things. You can check out the performance below, which ends in a synchronized dab we might add.
