Tegan and Sara's "Stop Desire" Music Video Is Nothing but Suggestive
So much innuendo.
Canadian indie pop group Tegan and Sara has released the visuals for their Love You To Death track, “Stop Desire.” Directed by Allister Ann, the video sees a dreamy pastel color scheme, as well as an abundance of grand suggestions. From visiting the post office to waiting around at the laundromat, the duo goes on a quest to find sensual desires in various everyday scenarios.
“We wanted to marry the high-energy and colorful vibe of Stop Desire’s production with the longing sexual undertones of the song’s lyrics for this video,” the pair explains. “Director Allister Ann created a colorful world for us where we go throughout our day straight-faced while encountering characters finding sensuality in every day things.” The group has also tapped Reggie Watts, the leader of the The Late Late Show with James Corden’s house band, to make a special cameo in the clip.
