Tom Ford Returns to the Silver Screen with 'Nocturnal Animals'
The fashion designer directs, produces and writes for the film starring Amy Adams & Jake Gyllenhaal.
Following up to his highly-acclaimed 2009 film A Single Man, renowned fashion designer Tom Ford once again returns to the silver screen for his latest project entitled Nocturnal Animals. As with his debut film, Ford once again takes on the roles of director, writer and producer for the new flick based on the 1993 novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright.
The film stars Amy Adams as an art gallery owner named Susan Morrow who is viciously haunted by a violent thriller novel that her ex-husband (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) has recently penned. Reading the novel as a veiled threat rampant with undertones of symbolic revenge, Susan is thrown into terrifying circumstances beyond her control. Portrayed in typical Tom Ford fashion, the trailer provides a first glimpse into the beautiful cinematography and stunning costuming of the forthcoming picture. The film also stars Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney and Michael Sheen.
Nocturnal Animals is set for a December 9, 2016 theatrical release. You can catch the first reel above, which is sure to have you at the edge of your seat.
