The inaugural XBYO collection will release on January 5.

adidas Originals is about to launch a new XBYO collection modeled by cultural icon Adwoa Aboah and rapper Desiigner. The range hails back to the inaugural Originals Fall/Winter 2001 collection – talk about a New Year’s throwback.

Basics like hooded sweatshirts and crewnecks release with long-sleeve shirts and sweatpants – a minimal “X” logo adorns the back. The lookbook’s hazy and nostalgic aesthetic is brought out against a VHS noise background.

The new XBYO collection drops worldwide on January 5.
