Nike Wants Everyone to Know "The Force Is Female" in 2017 Spring Campaign

Nike is letting it be known — girls run the world. The Swoosh continues its effort to champion girl power with a new campaign that celebrates women who are pushing the culture forward and creating their own lanes as an inspiration to all.
The Air Force 1 has been a revolutionary silhouette in Nike’s legacy and celebrates over three decades as a silhouette that’s undoubtedly paved the way. It continues to evolve — most recently with the Special Field and Ultraforce Mid editions — and is highlighted in “The Force Is Female” initiative on the feet of women who are impacting their own industries in substantial ways.
Swoosh doesn’t stop there, as Ro.Lexx — a budding female photographer that often works with Bryson Tiller and the like — lensed the story and adds another layer of perspective to the campaign’s meaningfulness. Check it out above, and keep an eye out at Nike for future AF1 releases.
