Go Backstage for OFF-WHITE's 2017 Fall/Winter Show at Paris Fashion Week
It’s all about “Seeing Things.”
Virgil Abloh had a particularly busy Paris Fashion Week — and that’s to be expected, of course, but Thursday meant unveiling both his OFF-WHITE Pre-Fall 2017 and Fall 2017 ranges. We now get an exclusive look backstage for the latter collection, entitled “Seeing Things.” Mens’ and womenswear looks maturely mingle behind the scenes. Only four years since launching his brand, Virgil Abloh’s growth extending beyond his streetwear beginnings is ever-apparent.
“The ethos was not to be preoccupied with youth,” Abloh asserted. “It was to put something wearable at the forefront but from an elder generation, using the exploratory idea that youth is ageless.”
Growing up this season also means an enriched appreciation for art, as French street artist Pablo Tomek’s abstract brushstrokes touched different items from head to toe. Above, get a closer look at Virgil’s latest offerings, then see the entire “Global Warming?” Pre-Fall 2017 collection here.
