Vetements' Surprisingly Minimal – and Practical – Raincoat Is Now Available

You might not even recognize the new Macintosh.

Leave it to Vetements to rework mundane items into the most-covetable. Demna Gvasalia did popularize the DHL logo into a 2016 T-shirt trend.

The designer debuted a Mackintosh raincoat on the Spring/Summer 2017 runway turning the 1893 invention – by Scotsman Charles Mackintosh – into a modern cold-weather must-have.

“I owned a vintage Mac that I wore for years in my early twenties” Gvasalia told Elle about the inspiration. Gvasalia centered on the practicality rather than style though the over-exaggerated Vetements-ness is still present.

The raincoat’s landed in select stockists including Antonioli at $2540 USD. Shop now.
