New York’s Germania Building has just been turned into a unique fashion experience by retailer Totokaelo.
Located at the corner of Bowery and Spring Street in New York City, the building was constructed in 1898 and has since changed a couple of times. Now, Totokaelo will be the first fashion brand to use the space, which once belonged to photographer Jay Maisel.
The store consists of several displays designed by the brand itself, as well as a unique Acne Studios space created specifically for the location. The store is home to popular brands like Calvin Klein, Vetements, Jacquemus and Viden, and in the basement the space is almost untouched, creating a unique, textured backdrop for curated brands like Maison Margiela, Marni and Lanvin.
