Sneaker marketplace app GOAT has announced it’s about to launch a footwear pop-up gallery in LA this month that will celebrate, “the artists, shoes and boutiques that have shaped pop culture and paved the way for sneaker enthusiasts everywhere.” Dubbed “The Greatest: Los Angeles,” the exhibition will focus on detailing the city’s contribution to sneaker culture worldwide through 25 notable pairs of shoes that have been inspired by or created there.
The gallery space will honor significant sneakers, including the Air Max 97 360 x Union, YEEZY PowerPhase, Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Diamond” and more. “The Greatest” will also encompass workshops and open sessions with various talents in the industry like Sophia Chang, Jeff Staple and Jason Markk amongst others.
