Women Are on Top in the 2018 Critics Choice Award Shortlist

Not a man in sight.

The 2018 BRIT Awards is taking place on November 29, and the shortlist for the 2018 Critics Choice award features three powerful female artists. The award has previously been presented to artists like Adele, Sam Smith and Emeli Sandé, and this year upcoming British talent Jorja Smith, Mabel and Stefflon Don are in the running.

The award, chosen by a team of experts, takes over 100 artists from all genres into consideration for the award. Seeing three talented women, without a man in sight, nominated for the award is both refreshing and encouraging for budding female artists out there. The winner will be announced on Monday, December 4.

The 2018 BRIT Awards will be broadcasted live on ITV from the O2 Arena in London on February 21, 2018.
