These Chunky New Buffalo Sneakers Already Have a Waiting List

The ’90s are back in a big way.

If the plethora of chunky sneakers taking over stores (and your Instagram) feed didn’t make it obvious – the nineties are back. Between Balenciaga’s coveted Triple-S, Eytys’ Angel and FILA’s Trailblazer, over-the-top kicks have been slipping into sneaker rotations worldwide.

It should come as no surprise then that the go-to platform sneaker of the nineties is set to return. That’s right, those beloved, bulky Buffalos, made most iconic by the Spice Girls, have been re-released in black and white colorways. Available in both regular and high-top iterations, the tonal silhouettes stay very close to the original inception. The leather upper has minimal branding on the tongue, lateral side and lace dubrae, allowing the complementary clunky midsole to stand out.

These retro kicks are so in-demand that they already have a hefty waiting list prior to release. Peep the available styles above – if you want to try your chances at copping a pair, they’ll be stocked at Browns in the UK from November 24.
