Helmut Lang Taps Keizo Kitajima For Latest "Artist Series" Collection

Bringing street photography to life.

For its latest addition to the new “Artist Series” collection, Helmut Lang has tapped Japanese photographer Keizo Kitajima. The third installment of the series focuses on three high-contrast works taken in New York City during the ’80s. Being a pioneer of street photography, Kitajima’s work has now been turned into simple garments, putting his photographs front and center.

Featuring three T-shirts, prints and a metal pin, 15-percent of the collection’s profits will be donated to Keizo Kitajima’s charity of choice: The New York Foundation for the Arts. Ranging from $15 to $125 USD, the collection is now available over at Helmut Lang.
