'Stranger Things' Officially Confirmed for Season Three and We're Crying

After two highly acclaimed seasons that shook not just the Upside Down but also the Internet, it’s expected that Stranger Things will be renewed for a third installment. That being said, we can’t help but be thrilled when Netflix officially announces season three of the series.

Taking to Twitter, the streaming giant confirms that the show has been re-upped for new episodes: “FOR THE LOVE OF STEVE, DUH! So hold tight baby darts — season 3 is officially happening.” Yes, that means Eleven, Mike and the rest of the Hawkins crew will soon be returning to our screens. We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty excited for more late-night binge-watching.
