YEEZY Stylist Christine Centenera Launches WARDROBE.NYC with Designer Josh Goot
Timeless pieces to disrupt the standard fast-fashion model.
Disrupting the standard model of fast-fashion, Vogue Australia‘s fashion director Christine Centenera and Australian designer Josh Goot now introduce WARDROBE.NYC, a label that will release direct-to-consumer full outfit collections.
By eliminating the middleman, the new label aims to offer competitive prices to shoppers – if this model seems familiar, it’s because it can already be seen with the successes of Everlane and Trunk Club. Designing both a men’s and women’s line – a four-piece selection and eight-piece selection, respectively – the brand will offer wardrobe investment pieces of utmost quality.
Centenera has established a name for herself within the streetwear realm as Kanye West’s YEEZY runway stylist and Kim Kardashian‘s trusted consultant, two titles that seem to elegantly manifest in her new pieces of minimalist ease and streetwear edge. As is evident in the label’s inaugural collection, the founding pair is creating something truly timeless.
You can shop the full collections now at WARDROBE.NYC and can head over to Vogue to read an interview of the launch conducted by the duo’s long-time friend, Virgil Abloh.
