ALL BLUES' New Jewelry Collection Is Inspired by A "Ruined Omelette"
Kitchen faux pas transforms into stunning earrings and necklaces.
Swedish jewelry label ALL BLUES has recently launched a brand new collection inspired by an “accident” in the kitchen. Dubbed “The Ruined Omelette,” the accessories range features a lineup of earrings and necklaces modelled after, well, a ruined omelette. As the brand’s co-founder and designer Fredrik Nathorst explains,
One Sunday morning earlier this year I was at home making an omelette for breakfast and accidentally dropped an egg on the floor. I instantly grabbed a piece of paper and sketched four pieces of jewellery based on the components of that mess – the egg white, the yolk and the two halves of the cracked shell.
Lensed by London-based photographer Sarah Blais at Stockholm’s famed gourmet restaurant Operakällaren, the campaign sees models wearing handmade, recycled 925 sterling silver and 18k gold pieces while savouring omelettes prepared by star chef, Stefano Catenacci. Check out the beautifully-shot imagery in the gallery above.
Priced between $430 USD and $2,060 USD, you can now shop the “Ruined Omelette” collection online. Every purchase will come with a unique lookbook featuring an exclusive omelette recipe by Catenacci.
