During London Fashion Week last October, Christopher Kane brought onto his 2017 spring/summer runway a controversial footwear item — a bejeweled Crocs clog. While some loved the unconventional concept, a number of critics didn’t like the shoe as much. The designer has since spoken to WWD that he doesn’t care about what others think. “I don’t think anyone’s got the right to say right or wrong,” says Kane, “unless they’re God, otherwise just shut up.”
With spring being just around the corner, the brand now officially rolls out the shoe. Available in “Navy” and “Green,” the slipper is designed with a marble effect and is decorated with glittery, volcanic rock-like stones. Have a closer look at both iterations in the gallery above.
Retailing at €325 EUR (approximately $348 USD), you can now purchase this pair at select retailers such as colette.
