WTF, Instagram Just Launched a Photo Album Feature

Allowing you to include up to 10 photos/videos in a single post.

Adding further changes to the platform, Instagram has just announced that it will be implementing a new photo album feature. Regarding the change, the social media giant explains: “With this update, you no longer have to choose the single best photo or video from an experience you want to remember. Now, you can combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post and swipe through to see them all.”

As the above video demonstrates, you will soon be able to share multiple photos and videos at once, as well as to edit and rearrange the order of the selected media. Although the new element will undoubtedly increase engagement and encourage users to stay on the platform for an even longer period of time, some users are still undecided. The primary point of concern for most is that the new feature will add clutter to the increasingly crowded feed. Even so, the majority of Instagram’s updates have been regarded successfully, so time will tell if this particular one can be considered the same.

The update is now available as part of Instagram 10.9 for both iOS and Android.
