Last December Karen Walker launched a debut metal optical collection and the brand returns with something new in 2017.
Karen Walker’s been a leader in the eyewear industry with over 950 global stockists but her “Transformers” campaign marks the only time the designer’s stepped out into the limelight. She modeled the new collection’s sunglasses in the various “hats” she wears on a daily basis.
She channels women who have inspired her work including muse Princess Margaret and goddess Dolly Parton. Her “alters” live inside the designer and now share the campaign. It was shot in Los Angeles by photographer Michael Schwartz.
