Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne are here to make a strong statement with their 2017 fall/winter collection. Showcased during New York Fashion Week, the brand’s new range sees a number of politically charged slogans printed on various silhouettes.
Models storm the runway with bright red caps that read “MAKE AMERICA NEW YORK,” as well as hoodies boasting the phrase “WE NEED LEADERS.” To play with proportions, the collection includes rebelliously oversized pieces. Bomber jackets and hoodies feature extra-long sleeves, while skirts and pants receive a modern, cropped treatment. Check out the key runway looks in the gallery above.
We also went backstage to document the behind-the-scenes moments before the show kicked off. Scroll through below to see it for yourself. For more NYFW news, head over here.
