Anthony Vaccarello Brings Dark Glamor to Saint Laurent's 2017 Fall/Winter Show
Featuring lots of black leather, glitter and occasional nip slips.
Paris Fashion Week kicked off earlier this week with Anthony Vaccarello’s sophomore fashion show for Saint Laurent. Set in Yves Saint Laurent’s under-construction headquaters on Rue de Bellechasse, the runway presentation was like a continuation of last season’s leather liberation.
Opened with a number of black and brown leather ensembles, the show was rich with dark glamor moods. Featuring over 100 women’s and men’s looks, the collection includes a lineup of cocktail dresses decorated with carefully sculpted sleeves, see-through lace tops, luxe fur coats and more. Models were seen strutting down the runway in a range of glittery pieces, including bejeweled button-down shirts, floor-length gowns and even a pair of rhinestone studded knee-high boots. Of course, Vaccarello’s sultry show wouldn’t be complete without some occasional nip slips. Scroll through the gallery above to see it for yourself.
