Streetsnaps: Milan Fashion Week 2017 Fall/Winter Ends on a Strong Streetwear Note
See the likes of Supreme, Fila, Thrasher and more mixed alongside Balenciaga and Gucci.
Before Paris Fashion Week 2017 begins, Milan Fashion Week came to a close — but not without a stylish bang. Brands like Gucci, Jeremy Scott and Fendi presented their storied wares for Fall/Winter 2017, but outside attendees showcased their own high-low aesthetics, combining the best in luxury fashion with streetwear favorites. The brisk Italian weather casted lofty outerwear, most notably in red by Balenciaga or Supreme, with logo pieces from Calvin Klein, Fila, Gosha Rubchinskiy, the ever-popular Gucci tee and more. Accessorizing meant making use of the mundane, like a shoelace repurposed as a belt or metal chain as a necklace, or incorporating the use of bold furs, feathers and metallics for added depth.
