Acne Studios' 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Is a Lesson in Deconstructed Beauty
Featuring lots of patchwork and irregular-shaped accessories.
Last season, Acne Studios took inspiration from the counterculture around the Grateful Dead and the Deadheads. It looks like the spirit of freedom and naiveté is here to stay for Fall/Winter 2017.
Jonny Johansson has recently returned to Paris Fashion Week to showcase his latest collection for the brand. Referencing the finger puppets that renowned Swiss-German artist Paul Klee created in the mid-1910s and 1920s, the new range features a lineup of deconstructed, off-kilter silhouettes. Designed largely in warm, earthy tones, the collection includes a handful of patchwork dresses and sweaters, as well as spring-ready floral pieces. Accessories-wise, the designer has presented a range of statement earrings and some quirky, irregular-shaped sunglasses. Scroll through the gallery above to see it for yourself.
