ALYX Gets Kinky for 2017 Fall Ready-To-Wear Collection
A daring range inspired by Berlin’s underground.
Having launched its web store late last year, ALYX’s biker chic garb is now available at your fingertips — good thing too, as the label’s latest 2017 spring ready-to-wear collection is filled with plenty of covetable pieces. This time around, creative director Matthew Williams presents a range entitled “Aggressive Elegance.” The theme itself is quite fitting, as the program highlights a distinct S&M aesthetic. To be more specific, Vogue reports that Williams was inspired by “the underground fetish scenes of Berlin.” From shearling jackets to metal-studded dresses, the items display ALYX’s hallmark balance between feminine silhouettes and subculture vibes.
