Queen of 'Lion King'? Beyoncé May Play Nala in Upcoming Remake

The mighty jungle might be getting in formation.

Bow down, because Beyoncé just may become queen of the mighty jungle. A Lion King remake is in the works, and the entertainer is reportedly director Jon Favreau’s top pick to voice Nala, Variety has exclusively learned. Though she is currently pregnant with twins, inside sources say Favreau and the studio “will do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule” should she decide to accept the voice-acting role. If she does, she’ll join Donald Glover, who will be playing Simba.

We’ll have to wait and see whether Lion King will get in formation. In the meantime, watch Queen Bey reign over the 2017 Grammys stage here.
