Coinciding with the launch of its new website, Kappa has tapped creative agency the con.cept to produce its 2017 campaign shot in New York City. Thanks to an unexpected collaboration with Vetements revealed last June at Pitti Uomo, the Italian sportswear label has been experiencing a renaissance of sorts. In the same way that the brand’s unmistakable “Omini” logo creates a resonating sense of nostalgia, the con.cept wanted to reflect Kappa’s authenticity from today’s typical “trendy sportswear.”

As the con.cept explains, “Kappa is not mainstream and isn’t trying to be; it’s one of the special few that live in the space between sport, music art & culture.” Check out the entire campaign in the gallery above, and head over to Kappa’s website and the con.cept’s page for a closer look at the pieces.
