Celebrated as an innovative model since its inception, the adidas UltraBOOST takes a new evolutionary step. The UltraBOOST Uncaged brought the first major change to the shoe by shedding the plastic wrapping on the Primeknit upper — now next to be removed are the laces.

Instagram user @icefuckingfire offers the first look at the new UltraBOOST above. The original heel counter and BOOST midsole paired with the Continental rubber outsole are still present, but all the other elements are gone. What’s left is a purely slip-on silhouette. There’s no information on a release date or pricing, so stay tuned for more info in the future.
