Guess What? Jeremy Scott Now Designs Furniture for Moschino
Featuring a high heel bookshelf, a zipped lip sofa and more.
Jeremy Scott never fails to surprise. With his incredible imagination, the designer turned everyday trash into couture pieces at Moschino‘s 2017 fall/winter runway show. And now, Scott has teamed up with Italian company Gufram to launch their whimsical furniture collection at Milan Design Week.
Dubbed “Moschino Kisses Gufram,” the capsule collection pays homage to a few of Moschino’s most memorable pieces including its Biker Jacket bag and logo high heels. In particular, the Biker Bag gets transformed into a cabinet, while the heels serve as a bookshelf and an ottoman. There’s even a zipped lip sofa inspired by the iconic Bocca lips couch.
“The lips sofa is one of the most indelible design creations of all time! I was honored to leave my finger print on this icon with this limited edition Zipped Lips! version on the Bocca,” says Scott. “This partnership between Moschino and Gufram is a true celebration of pop culture.” Scroll through the gallery above to see the entire range.
The furniture collection will be displayed at Moschino’s flagship store in Milan from April 4 to April 9.
