Here Are All the NIKEiD Options for the New Air VaporMax

To launch on Air Max Day.

When the much-anticipated Nike Air VaporMax launches this weekend on Air Max Day, it will release in three classic colorways – “Pure Platinum,” “Grey/Red” and a NikeLab “Triple Black” version. For those of us who like to show our personality through our shoes, there will also be a range of NIKEiD customization options available upon launch to celebrate the heritage of Air as well as the technology’s 30th birthday.

In addition to the expected customizations on the Flyknit upper, laces and Swoosh, Nike also includes some quirky, Air Max Day-specific options. The visible airbag sole is offered in the vibrant “Volt” shade that has become synonymous with Air Max, and you’ll also be able to select a “3.26″ tongue label which is a tribute to the Air Max 1 that released in 2014.

This year, NIKEiD also introduces AIRMOJIs – a range of graphical icons that pay homage to the rich Air Max history; they appear on the back of the shoe. Notable AIRMOJIs include the “Kiss My Airs” branding seen in Air Max Day campaign material this year, as well as a Blue Ribbon Sports logo which was the original name of the company when it was founded by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight in 1964. Conclusively, you can finish your design with heel customizations – we couldn’t resist throwing “AIR BAE” on our creation.

Check our Instagram story and Snapchat for more previews of the NIKEiD experience, and be ready for the VaporMax to drop on March 26 at nike.com.
