Makeup Artist in Kylie Cosmetics Controversy Is Now Smashbox's Lip Editor-in-Chief
With two new lip collections to boot.
Last year makeup artist Vlada Haggerty called out Kylie Cosmetics’ Holiday 2016 campaign on its startling similarity to her own work. She then took action with a lawsuit that ended with Kylie Jenner seemingly making amends by crediting the artist in an Instagram post.
Haggerty’s kept quiet since but returned yesterday with news that she’s Smashbox Cosmetics’ new Lip Editor-in-Chief. Alongside that announcement were her two new liquid lip collections in collaboration with the brand – Be Legendary Liquid Pigment and Be Legendary Liquid Metal. Both collections come with eight or nine colors ranging between neutral to bright.
Oh, heyyyy. Meet the whole crew of Liquid Metals from our new #BeLegendaryLiquidLip collection, dropping TODAY on smashbox.com and @ultabeauty online (one note: Brains ‘N’ Bronze, the metallic bronze, is an exclusive @sephora shade) . See today’s other post for swatches, plus the other half of this collection (Liquid Pigments)…
